It was fast I used the appointment feature on the website, which made a smoother process because we all know that sitting there for hours is no bueno this helped keep track of how many people are ahead of me and when to start heading to the dmv.

Gets pretty packed pretty quick since it services the entire High Desert. Plan on waiting, or getting your number and coming back in about a hour. There's a new way they can update your place in line through text message. Also, there are several kiosk located around the city to renew registration and get your tags if you have a renewal letter with a barcode. Saves time and a headache...

If you have an appointment it's pretty quick. I only gave 4 stars because the photo girl for your drivers license is a hater lol. No reason your photo should have majority blue background and barely your face. I took mine in January and it was perfect, I had to retake it this month and it was horrible. Super zoomed up, majority blue back ground, just bad lol

So DMV is never anybody's idea of a good time, but it must be tackled. It was quite busy, but it was well organized and this location had been remodeled recently. Each employee was patient and friendly. It took approximately two hours to renew an expired drivers license without an appointment. Not too bad.

I realize the DMV has a bad wrap...wait, wait and then wait some more, but my time today was wonderful!! Yesterday, I booked an appointment for today! Yes, just one day out!! The appointment was for 2:10 pm to get a replacement DL. I arrived at 2:00 pm and was finished in 9 minutes! I walked out at 2:08 pm. Great work Victorville DMV!!!

Last couple of times I've gone, the wait has been very short even up to only 30 minutes. And the customer service that I received has been fabulous. Even though I didn't like having to go back and get other forms, the person seemed genuine as far as her disappointment that I didn't have all the paperwork. Such a increase in customer service there.

They're fast polite and you can tell they actually like their job. It's clean and they're service is fast. I've gone to a few DMV's and this one by far is the best I've gone to. From checking in, to completing your services they go above and beyond in some cases to making sure you get what you need and go on about your day. And they do it with a smile!

Don't believe the rumors. You do not need to go to Barstow to get great DMV service. Victorville DMV has great customer service. Make an appointment or show up early for non appointments. I was in and out under one hour and the people were great to talk to.

Kudos and thank you to the staff here! Out of three different states I have lived in, they are the most pleasant folks I have ever dealt with. Their process during COVID was efficient, and the staff was incredibly helpful and super friendly.
