Residential Parking Permit
The City of Daly gives parking preference to residents who live around the City’s transportation hubs. The main purpose is to keep commuters from parking in adjacent residential areas and taking spaces from residents.
Parking Zones are located as follows:
Zone A: Original Daly City area near BART Station - https://www.dalycity.org/ImageRepository/Document?documentId=1608

No Parking
Whenever signs authorized by this code or any other resolution or ordinance of the city are in place on designated streets of the city restricting stopping, parking or standing of any vehicle, no person shall stop, stand or park any vehicle on any such designated street for a period of time longer than specified on the authorized sign. Such signs shall be placed not more than one hundred fifty feet apart. No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle within any parkway
Parking in alleys
No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle for any purpose other than the loading or unloading of persons or materials in any alley.
Bicycle parking zones
No person shall stop, stand or park any other vehicle in front of such zone while such signs are in place.

You may also visit the front desk of the Daly City Police Department Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, or on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Please ask to speak with a supervisor regarding parking citation concerns.
